What will Princess Charlotte's royal job description be when she will be older?

In fourth position on the British throne, Princess Charlotte, daughter of Prince William and Kate Middleton, will one day perform many royal duties.

These days, the only tasks the little princess has been asked to do is to serve as a bridesmaid in a few weddings. However, when she gets older, much more will be asked of the daughter of a future king.

Here's what we know about the princess's job description one day.

Princess Charlotte will always be a full-time royal

Pop Sugar pointed out that, because Princess Charlotte is in the direct ascension line rather than the descent of a younger son, she will be considered a full-time royal employee, all her life. This is not the case of his cousins, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, both of whom are royal members who do not work and therefore have a full-time job unrelated to the palace.

For Charlotte, all her work will be done on behalf of the royal family and the reigning monarch.

The palace has not yet confirmed the specific tasks that Charlotte will have in the future, but it is safe to assume that she will do what the royals have done in the same situation.

That said, Charlotte's work will likely involve everything that Princess Margaret (Queen's younger sister) and Princess Anne (Prince Charles's younger sister) did. The two women were presented with a busy program that was asked of them, which Anne still does to this day.

Like them, the Princess Charlotte will not only have to go for royal tours, make appearances at official ceremonies, but she will also almost certainly participate in several charitable works and will be the protectress.

Will Charlotte work as hard as her great aunt?

When Charlotte is old enough to begin her royal duties, the question will be whether she will work as hard as her great-aunt, Princess Anne. The unique daughter of Queen Elizabeth II has earned the reputation of being the most hardworking royal because since 2016 she has attended more engagement than any other member of the royal family.

From January 2018 to August 2018, Anne had already worked 105 days out of a possible 215. In 2017, the Princess Royal attended 540 engagements and the previous year she had attended 640 events. Although Princess Anne attends more outings than any other member of her family, there is one thing she will not do: it is to shake hands with people in the crowd.

"We never shook hands. The theory was that you could not shake everybody's hand, so do not start. I'm sticking to that, "said Anne as a reason. "I think the initial concept was that it was obviously absurd to start shaking hands. And it seems to me that it has become an exercise with shaking hands rather than a walkabout. "

We believe that Charlotte will be different from her grand aunt in this respect and will instead follow in the footsteps of her parents who shake hands with members of the public.
