Tomorrow, at noon, Microsoft will organize an event to announce its new generation HoloLens. Although the company has kept most of the details on the device near his chest, it seems like the party starts a little earlier.
WalkingCat unveiled some pictures of what is probably the next generation of HoloLens. As you can see in the pictures, the camera seems to be smaller than the first iteration, but you still wear a full helmet.
As for the specifications, although we still do not know the whole story, we know that it uses a Snapdragon 850. It is also likely that we can say that we should see a longer autonomy and a field of new material; Fortunately, we'll know the rest of the details tomorrow.
Looking at the images, we can see at least 4 cameras looking towards the future, possibly five depending on the circle in the middle, and the headband is thinner than previous generations. The part of the visor on the forehead was probably designed to make it more comfortable for longer and we can also see that no helmet is integrated.
Although we do not see very well at the back of the device, it is clear that there is a larger part behind the head that probably contains the calculation and the battery of the device.
