Now that the 2019 NFL draft is over, the notes begin for the Cleveland Browns.
There are two distinct ways to consider the draft Browns when distributing notes. This should include or not the acquisition of the wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. In the void, some only distribute notes for the choices made. Other graders take into account the Beckham pickup.
Those who include Beckham have largely given the Browns a high rating. Those who did not give the Brown a middle note.
If there is one constant in the Browns drafts, it is that the team flew in the second round with LSU cornerback Greedy Williams.
Here's how the ratings for 2019 change:
Mel Kiper, ESPN (link)
Grade: A-
Explanation: Cleveland did not have a first-round pick because of the OBJ trade. I know that Brown's fans are perfectly fine. Dorsey had to work on day 2. He did that with his first pick, taking cornerback talented Greedy Williams (# 46), who dropped because his band raises questions about his fight.
Pete Prisco, CBS (link)
Grade: C +
Explanation: They traded their first-round pick against the Giants against Odell Beckham Jr., which is a win for them. Greedy Williams is a great cover player, but he has to work on his tackles. The rest of the project was just OK.
Chad Reuter, NFL.com (link)
Grade: A
Explanation: The Browns made their pick in this year's draft draft on Friday night, as General Manager John Dorsey broke away from a fifth-round pick to increase Williams by three spots, which will play an important role in his cover early in his career with Cleveland.
Steven Ruiz, FTW (link)
Grade: GPA at three rounds of 3.0
Explanation: I am still in shock. The Browns finished with Greedy Williams without qualifying for the first round. The rest of this class, which includes a kicker, is disappointing.
Thor Nystrom, Rotoworld (link)
Grade: A-
Explanation: Although they have no choice in the first round, the Browns emerged with a CB, Greedy Williams, in freefall. Assuming he is in good health, it is a flight on a road.
Andy Benoit, Sports Illustrated (link)
Grade: C-
Explanation: With the costly Odell Beckham operation at first glance, this is the mandatory phrase of Cleveland's new offensive firepower and high expectations. To meet these expectations, General Manager John Dorsey went on the defense with his top four picks.
Vinnie Iyer, Sporting News (link)
Grade: No grade
Explanation: The Browns did not need a first round pick to get a first-round corner of Williams' fall. Wilson was their next big choice; it should never have been on the board for so long.

Category B-
Explanation: Getting CB Greedy Williams mid-way through the second lap was another strong gesture from GM John Dorsey.

Grade: A
Explanation: When you also enter CB Greedy Williams and ILB Mack Wilson, who are potentially both an immediate beginner (and whose qualities are good), then you went beyond that.
