Patriots cornerback JC Jackson took his rightful place in the Pro Bowl ballot.

After Jackson was excluded from the initial ballot, despite leading the NFL with six interceptions this season, controversy erupted online. Less than an hour after PFT’s publication on the matter, the NFL had rectified the situation.

Jackson now appears as one of 74 cornerbacks on the ballot.

The Pro Bowl will not be played this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but the NFL still chooses rosters to honor the players involved and will have virtual activities to celebrate the Pro Bowlers. Fans, players and coaches all vote for the Pro Bowlers, with each group’s votes getting a third of the weight. This controversy may have caught Jackson’s attention and increased his chances of making the Pro Bowl squad.
