NFL Draft 2019: Kyler Murray to the Giants? Dave Gettleman should offer godfather to the cardinals

As the Giants prepare for what could be a rough draft and a decision to change franchise to the quarterback position, it's time for the team to think about something radical.

After Kyler Murray's visit to East Rutherford this week, you should be able to offer the sponsor to go from No. 6 to No. 1 in the NFL draft in 2019 to clinch the Oklahoma star.

In fact, the Arizona Cardinals would probably not accept anything the giants are proposing. With Kliff Kingsbury in tow, the end of the 2019 draft was probably written before the start of all this: from Murray to Arizona, number 1, Josh Rosen (last year's first-round pick) was sent to a needy team like New York. or in Washington.

But nothing is frozen.

Dave Gettleman, the executive director who reorganized the reconstruction of the Giants with dubious decisions, has a chance to change the future now. Russell Wilson is the best solution at the moment and would change Gettleman's legacy. But Murray would give the giants a promising future.

If, say, the 2019 giants lined up Murray, Saquon Barkley, Sterling Shepard and Evan Engram as offensive young building blocks, you could dream of a gigantic future full of youngsters. This has not been the case in New York for almost a decade.

The Giants made a mistake in the repechage last year. They can right now with a veteran. But if they become young and reverse the situation, it should involve the most daring move: to convince Arizona to stay with Rosen and bring Murray to New York.
