NFL Draft 2019: Preview of the third day of the draft for the Patriots

After trading 473 times late, the Patriots ended the second day of the NFL draft with four players, giving them a total of five drafts. They have added players in many of the need stations, including a wide receiver, a cornerback, an offensive tackle, a defense and a running back. There are a lot of people who will break down these players and how they will integrate with the Patriots (click here or here or here or here or here). For this article, we simply examine where they will be written on the third day of the project.

The Patriots have seven picks on the third day, giving them a chance to recruit a total of 12 players this weekend. Three of the choices are in the fourth round and four in the seventh. This means that they have no choice in rounds five or six. In general, the Patriots do not like to have such a big gap between the choices, so expect them to come back against a fifth or sixth round choice. The fact that they have consecutive choices in the fourth (n ° 133 and n ° 134) is another asset.

They still have not met the needs of the tight quarter or end, which most fans were hoping for on the second day. Fortunately, with the number of selections that they have at day three, they will still have a chance to do it. I guess the Patriots will not make the seven choices today, but they have the assets to move or even trade against a veteran to meet a need.

Whatever it is, today is the last day of the project. I hope you had as much fun watching it as we do, and hope you enjoyed all our content, as there will be many more to come!
