Todd McShay of ESPN and Mel Kiper, Jr. combined to make a simulated draft 3 laps one week before the start of the first round of draft NFL 2019. Both prognosticators exchanged their selections to provide the first 102 selections.
McShay started with the Redskins in the first round taking Oklahoma WR Marquise Brown in 15th. He mentioned that the first three quarters are excluded, leaving Daniel Jones sitting in the place, but Washington chooses instead to turn to Hollywood.

With the first three quarters off the board, let's get one to burn hands for Case Keenum. Washington is looking for a receiver who has changed the game for a long time.
Mel Kiper, Jr. responds to the call and gives the Redskins the opportunity to fill another important need this year. Preston Smith stepped down as a free agent, leaving behind a frustrating Ryan Anderson in front of Ryan Kerrigan's starter role. Enter Michigan OLB Chase Winovich, a very talented forward who could be in the starting lineup early in his career.

I was looking for a fit for Winovich with a team that manages a 3-4 defense. He produced Rashan Gary for the Wolverines.
Kiper also has the opportunity to choose the two choices of the third round of the Redskins in this mock collaboration. Kiper is targeting another defender with Washington's first choice in this round. Kentucky CB Lonnie Johnson joins a high school Redskins who has big question marks this season. Jay Gruden wants Josh Norman to play with his hype and his contract. Quinton Dunbar had a mysterious nerve injury last year that marginalized him. Fabian Moreau has been disappointing, and the Redskins have some young players competing for a spot at the bottom of the list.
Kiper says he got a QB with the Redskins first choice on the third round, but waits for choice # 96 to get his young correspondent. Will Grier, West Virginia, has received a lot of love from Washington and head coach Jay Gruden in the preliminary process. If they do not catch an early quarter, or do not trade against Josh Rosen, Grier will definitely be in play in the third round (and maybe sooner).

The choice of Kiper: Lonnie Johnson Jr., BC, Kentucky
Would it be a sneaky place to watch for the fifth quarterback of the board? Johnson is a good player who will immediately seek play time.
The choice of Kiper: Will Grier, QB, West Virginia
If I had the # 15 choice, I would have thought of quarterback Daniel Jones for the Redskins. But let's add Grier, who could sit behind Case Keenum for a year.
