The NFL has decided not to wait any longer to make a final decision.

ESPN reports that the league has moved the Ravens-Steelers game from Sunday to Tuesday night.

The decision was made despite Friday’s pending PCR test results, which may show no new positive results for Friday, an indication the outbreak may have subsided. At least one positive test came from the Friday morning point-of-care tests.

The delay now raises questions about the schedule for the Week 13 games between the Cowboys and Ravens and Steelers and Washington. There has been speculation the Cowboys-Ravens could switch from Thursday to Monday. If so, Pittsburgh’s game against Washington is also expected to take place on Monday.

The fact that the decision was made today proves that last night no decision had been made – despite reports suggesting decisions had been made. The league made the decision today, independent and independent of anything communicated by and between the coaches and players of the Ravens.
