NFL project simulation in 2019: 49ers trade with Dolphins and land Ed Oliver

I know what you all want this morning: let's do a rough draft. But no false project of which we know the result. This model project has trades. Several trades.

Today's false report comes from Vinnie Iyer, Sporting News, and as noted above, he has trades. The maneuver and the negotiations begin with the very first choice where the Oakland Raiders clinch the first pick of the general and take Kyler Murray. That would mean that Derek Carr is the quarterback. It's definitely a way to start. The Cardinals receive in return two of the first Raiders players (four and 24).

The 49ers do the same in an exchange with the Miami Dolphins. The Dolphins snatch Nick Bosa, while the 49ers fall back to 13th place and their defensive tackle Ed Oliver is a good price. Here's what Iyer said about the choice:

"The 49ers still need defensive linemen to place themselves in unexpected places on their defensive line. Oliver is the perfect player to join DeForest Buckner and Solomon Thomas because we have no idea how San Francisco will use it as a goal.

Even if I would love Quinnen Williams, having Ed Oliver for what the 49ers would win in an exchange (which has not been revealed) seems to me to be a big turn of events. I doubt there is much "twinning" with Solomon Thomas. Oliver is here to take Thomas's work. This trade can leave the 49ers fill several holes with Miami, who passes from 13th to 11th to get Nick Bosa. Hopefully, this could allow three of the four players in the line of defense to play with a joker, if the 49ers can answer their guy's question on the right.

What do you think of this draft and the turn of events?
