NFL Rumors: Patriots Host Three Linemen, Two Defensive Defenders For New England Patriots Training Sessions

Before their second week match with the Miami Dolphins, the New England Patriots took a look at a handful of free agents.

According to Nick Underhill of The Athletic, the Pats have come up with an offensive lineman, two defensive linemen and a pair of defensive backs.

Jones is probably the most notable name on this list. The 24-year-old was a second-round pick among North Carolina's Green Bay Packers in 2017. In the past two seasons, he has played 29 games, including 12 starts. In this sequence, he made 126 tackles (100 solo) with three sacks and one interception. He was cut before this season by Green Bay with a disease designation other than football.

Benenoch is another interesting name, given the current uncertainty surrounding Marcus Cannon (although the situation is not too serious). The 25-year-old was a fifth-round pick of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2016. He eventually became the perfect guard in 2018 for the 16 games. He was cut by Tampa on Tuesday.

Davis, 27, spent the first three seasons of his career with the Baltimore Ravens. It was lifted on the day of the 2018 slaughter and picked up by the Cleveland Browns, but played sparingly and was finally released on the day of slaughter this year.

Henry is a Ravens' choice in the fourth round of 2016 who has battled injuries throughout his career before being eliminated by Baltimore at the end of the pre-season. In 2017, he recorded 3 and a half sacks with two recoveries in 13 games.

Pickett is an unprepared 23-year-old rookie from UCLA who spent the boot camp with the Los Angeles Chargers before being released.
