Carr goes to Agholor again
Talk about a career resurgence! Nelson Agholor totally reinvented himself as a deep threat in his first year with the Las Vegas Raiders. Derek Carr concocted a third and long shot at Agholor to start the second half.
Big Ben fights through injury for key TD
Just a few games after receiving a massive knee blow that would belatedly force Ben Roethlisberger to make it to the locker room early before half-time was over, the veteran rallied and connected with James Washington on a TD pass to pump. get the Steelers in a single score.
Herbert launches strike at Allen
Justin Herbert has targeted Keenan Allen more than almost any receiver in the entire NFL since taking over as quarterback for the Chargers. That didn’t change in week 9. Herbert found Allen who broke free during a blanket outage and the rest was history.
Ballage gets on the set early with a new team
The Chargers appear to have produced new bodies every week at RB post since losing Austin Ekeler. This week, Kalen Ballage made his early entry with a TD race. Kudos to Anthony Lynn and this waiting room for finding the production of so many different players.
Dolphins score defensive TD again
For a second straight week, Miami entered the field with a defensive touchdown. Last week they scored several defensive touchdowns and special teams to pull off the backhand against the Rams and they’re now moving in the same direction.
Luton almost pulls a miraculous comeback
Jake Luton came close to pulling off an incredible comeback on his first career start with a miraculous spinning touchdown to get the Jags in two conversion points by tying the game. Luton might have some Gardner Minshew magic with him.
Welcome to the Titans, Mr. King
In his first game with the Titans since arriving via trade with the Chargers, defensive back Desmond King picked up the fumble and took it home – a game-changer in this defensive fight.
Fuller goes 77 yards home
Will Fuller is a threat to bring the ball home every time he touches it and that’s exactly what happened against the Jaguars’ overwhelmed defense this week. Deshaun Watson found the deep ball more complete and the rest was history.
Engram prepares for a TD
Daniel Jones met Evan Engram in needlework on a TD pitch. Calling Engram on a sewing pass is exactly what Giants fans asked for and they finally got it this week. Engram was also holding the ball this time.
Abdullah flies to TD
Remember a few years ago when Ameer Abdullah was going to become the RB sleeper of fantasy football? Of course, that never came to fruition, but he made one of the most impressive individual pieces on the first list on this TD.
Tannehill hits Brown on the deep shot
Ryan Tannehill dropped a perfectly placed long ball over his number 1 goal, AJ Brown, to give the Titans their only score of the first half. These two have developed an incredible connection.
Crows scoop and mark
Luge has been tough for rookie RB Jonathan Taylor so far early in his NFL career. After losing snaps to Jordan Wilkins last week, Taylor drew up the start for the Colts this week, but a fumble that was recovered and scored by the Ravens led to Wilkins and Nyheim Hines taking over for the next series.
No Ridley, no problem
Calvin Ridley may be out, but the Falcons’ passing game is happening early. Matt Ryan joined Olamide Zaccheaus for a 51-yard touchdown on a perfectly pitched pass.
McCaffrey scores in the first second leg
The Panthers have not really relieved Christian McCaffrey. On a courageous call from the Panthers early in the fourth run, Teddy Bridgewater read the Kansas City blitz and dropped a tactile pass over McCaffrey for the walk-in TD.
The cooks bring back the Texans
Luton’s TD Bomb follow-up was a run from Brandin Cooks after a TD was captured. Cooks’ open field explosiveness was fully on display on this TD.

Jaguars rookie quarterback Jake Luton wowed the coaching staff in practice, so Jacksonville turned to him to see what the rookie had. On his second career NFL assist, Luton threw a 73-yard TD seed at DJ Chark. Luton threw the ball over a line and he hit Chark in stride. This is what an NFL caliber arm talent looks like.
Return of the fantastic busts in the first round
If you’ve used your first-round pick in your fantasy football projects on Christian McCaffrey or Michael Thomas, chances are you’re not currently in the first place. But there is good news around the corner. McCaffrey and Thomas will return to battle today for the Panthers and Saints, respectively. According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, the Panthers are planning to spin McCaffrey and Mike Davis, but we’ll believe when we see it, we think it’s going to be more gamecript-based.
