With several teams temporarily closed last week due to COVID protocols, the league has had to make a major reshuffle to its schedule for the 2020-21 season. On Saturday, he announced schedule changes for 27 games involving eight different teams (Boston Bruins, Buffalo Sabers, New Jersey Devils, New York Islanders, New York Rangers, Philadelphia Flyers, Pittsburgh Penguins and Capitals of Washington).
All the teams are in the East division. These changes will translate into a fairly condensed schedule for most of these teams. Most of those games had already been postponed and were due to be postponed, but the list includes a new postponement: Tuesday’s game between the New Jersey Devils and the Pittsburgh Penguins, which was moved to March 18.
For now, the Devils’ game against Philadelphia on Thursday is still scheduled for that day. The Devils are among the teams that have been shut down. They haven’t played for a week.

• Game 150, Buffalo to New York Islanders, originally scheduled for February 2, is now scheduled for Monday, February 22 at 7 p.m. ET
• Game 295, Buffalo, New Jersey, originally scheduled for February 22, is now scheduled for Tuesday, February 23 at 7 p.m. ET
• Game # 635, New Jersey to Buffalo, originally scheduled for April 9, is now scheduled for Thursday, February 25 at 7 p.m. ET
• Game # 322, Philadelphia to Buffalo, originally scheduled for February 26, is now scheduled for Saturday, February 27 at 1 p.m. ET
• Game # 346, Washington, New Jersey, originally scheduled for March 1, is now scheduled for Sunday, February 28 at 3 p.m. ET
• Game 301, NY Islanders in New Jersey, originally scheduled for February 23, is now scheduled for Tuesday, March 2 at 7 p.m. ET.
