Rookie defensive lineman Nick Bosa injured the right hamstring during the team's organized activity on Tuesday.

The 49ers' coach, Kyle Shanahan, confirmed the injury, but was not sure of its seriousness, said Matt Maiocco of NBCSportsBayArea.com.

Bosa, the No. 2 overall pick, stopped during the pass exercises and limped slightly. He has not finished training or participating in a conditioning workout at the end of training.

Bosa's injury history was a concern for some NFL scouts during the preliminary process. He played only three games last season at Ohio State after suffering a central muscle injury and undergoing surgery on both sides to repair his torn muscles.

He also tore an ACL in high school.
