Nick Cannon reveals ex-wife Mariah Carey “still angry” with him after giving phones to their twins

Nick Cannon has revealed that his ex-wife Mariah Carey is “still angry” with him after giving their Moroccan twins and Monroe cell phones against his will.

In an Instagram clip from his eponymous talk show, the 40-year-old father-of-seven revealed that he gave the children cell phones for their tenth birthday on April 30 despite the refusal of Carey, 52.

In the What’s Poppin?!? segment of the episode, which aired on October 11, Cannon explained that the former couple initially agreed the kids would be old enough for personal phones by the age of ten, but when the time came, Carey didn’t was still not convinced.

“My older twins Roc and Roe wanted a cell phone at age 8,” he told the audience. ‘I totally agreed but Mariah said, “Uh huh … they’re not going to google us, learn about all of their new siblings, no we don’t play.”

The multi-dash artist continued, “I respected him at 8, but then we made a deal and said at 10 they could have him, [but] Mariah always said no. So at 10, I snuck in and always bought them cell phones for their birthday.

He described the anniversary celebration saying, “We had this amazing party with jumps, their friends came over, it was so amazing. Then [when] it was time to open the presents, I was like “I’m going to leave them here and tell your mum I’m coming back.” Mariah is still mad at me to this day. ‘

Nick and Mariah had a whirlwind romance and were married from 2008 to 2016.

The world-famous singer gave birth to their children, a boy and a girl, in 2011.

The former Wild ‘N Out host also has five other children, including another set of twins, Zion Mixolydian and Zillion Heir, along with Abby De La Rosa. The children were born on June 14. He also has a son Zen, born June 23, with Alyssa Scott.

And last December, the actor welcomed his daughter Powerful Queen with Bell of Brittany. Bell and Cannon also share a four-year-old son, Golden.

Also on Thursday, the show business vet shared more clips from the upcoming episodes of his all-new CW show, which debuted less than a month ago on September 27.

In one recording, he covered his ex-girlfriend Kim Kardashian’s trip to New York City as she prepares to host Saturday Night Live on October 9.

In another shot, he welcomed actor Anthony Anderson and his mother to the show.

In addition to the new show, he also hosts Nick Cannon Radio, and Thursday’s guest was singer Jazmine Sullivan. To promote the radio spot, he shared snippets of himself behind decks in his Instagram Stories.
