Nick Cannon, a father of seven, has revealed he will “take a break” from having children after his therapist recommended celibacy.

The TV presenter, 40, welcomed three new additions in June by two mothers, their sons Zen and twins Zion Mixolydian and Zillion Heir with model Alyssa Scott and DJ Abby De La Rosa, respectively.

It was only six months earlier that his ex-girlfriend Brittany Bell gave birth to their daughter Powerful Queen, as they share a son named Golden, four years old.

The star told Entertainment Tonight, “My therapist said I should be single. Okay, give me a bus break. [gonna] take a break from having children.

Nick also shares Moroccan twins and Monroe, 10, with his former wife and superstar singer Mariah Carey, following an eight-year marriage that ended in 2016.

“I come from a big family, I have several siblings,” he told ET.

“Having grown up at times in an unorthodox family through my grandparents, I have experienced such a wide range of upbringing that I have such a love and passion for children and family. I also want a big family.

The comedian had previously boasted to Power 106 radio station that there were plenty of women he could have impregnated, but chose not to.

‘I have no accident. Believe me, there are a lot of people I could have gotten pregnant with that I didn’t.

According to the former host of America’s Got Talent, the ones who got pregnant were the ones who were “supposed to.”

He also defended the unconventional arrangement on The Breakfast Club after his host Charlamagne tha God said people questioned his number of baby mothers.

The Masked Singer host, admitting that he does not subscribe to monogamy, said: “Why are people questioning it? It’s a Eurocentric concept when you think of the ideas… that you’re supposed to have that person for the rest of your life.

“The idea that a man should have a wife… we shouldn’t have anything. I have no ownership over this person. It is about the exchange that we can create together.

‘I don’t subscribe to that. These women, all women, are the ones who open up and say ‘I would like to allow this man into my world. And I will give birth to this child. It is not my decision. I follow suit.
