Nick Carter and his wife, Lauren Kitt, were delighted and surprised to learn that they were expecting a third child.

The Backstreet Boys star and his wife had suffered numerous miscarriages over the years and didn’t think of having another baby as a possibility.

“I was completely determined to have two children and had prepared for it and made arrangements for it,” Kitt, 37, told People magazine. “We were going to have two children and it was a surprise. I didn’t find out I was pregnant until I was about five and a half months pregnant.”

“I had no symptoms, I had nothing to indicate that I was pregnant. One day I just, I felt something move in my body and I said, ‘Nick, there is something’s wrong. I think I need to go to the doctor. Something’s wrong with me. I wasn’t supposed to be able to have more children, so I never assumed I was pregnant, ” she explained.

Kitt admitted that she thought she had a tumor “because there was just no way I could be pregnant, just because of my medical history and the things I did for myself. make sure I just had my two kids. “

The couple were even talking about using a surrogate mother in the near future to expand their family.

“With all that 2020 has given the whole world, I consider it a blessing,” said Carter, 40. “We love our two children and are proud to be great parents.”

The singer and fitness expert / trainer spoiled in 2014 and share their son Odin, 4, and daughter Saoirse, 15 months.

“I’ve always wanted to love someone, someone unconditionally and give my all to these people, my wife, my kids, and be selfless,” Carter described. “Now that I have it, yes, I am living my dream and I am very grateful and very blessed.”
