Browns running back Nick Chubb denies a charge he took cash payments to stay in Georgia his senior year.

Georgia high school football coach Rush Propst claimed that in 2017, when Chubb decided to return to Georgia for his senior season rather than making the NFL Draft, Georgia boosters gave Chubb a total of $ 180,000 to persuade him.

“If I needed the money, I would have become pro #fakenews” Chubb tweeted.

Propst claimed in a secretly taped conversation that Georgia and Alabama regularly pay players money.
