The NFL has disapproved of Nick Easton's contract with the Saints, reports Ian Rapoport of NFL Media. We do not know what was disapproved in the contract, so, adds Rapoport, it "could mean just a quick adjustment".
The offensive lineman triumphed the Vikings Saints on Sunday for a $ 24 million four-year deal.
New Orleans plans to play Easton in the middle, where Max Unger retired last week.
Easton, 26, missed all of last season with a neck injury that required surgery. He started 12 games in 2017 before a broken ankle did not finish his season in December.
