Nick Jonas, 28, looks like a teenager as he shows off his “fresh face” after shaving for “the first time in a long time” as he prepares to play Frankie Valli in Jersey Boys
Nick Jonas surprised his fans by shaving off facial hair.
The 28-year-old singer and songwriter shared a photo to Instagram on Thursday showing his clean-shaven face.
“I shaved my face for the first time in a long time,” he wrote in the caption, adding a grinning smiley face.

In the selfie, Nick was seen wearing a pink Hawaiian shirt decorated with black palm trees as he raised his eyebrows.
His wife Priyanka Chopra clearly approved of the new look, leaving emojis of a smiley face with heart eyes, heart and fire in the comments.
Jonas also shared a video in which he shaved in front of a bathroom mirror, before posting the photo of the end result.
Hitmaker Jealous was shirtless with a white towel slung over his shoulder as he ran a razor over his cheek and upper lip, which were coated in shaving cream.

“Fresh face,” he wrote in the video caption, adding the writing “I haven’t saved up in a while,” as well as a grinning emoji.
Many fans noted in the comments that Nick – who was dating Selena Gomez – looked like himself from his early days as a member of a boy group in sibling trio The Jonas Brothers.
The facial hair removal comes as Jonas prepares to play shaved Four Seasons frontman Frankie Valli in the upcoming Jersey Boys streaming adaptation of the Broadway hit musical Jersey Boys.
Valli, 87, confirmed the cast last month during an appearance on The Today Show, saying: ‘[Jersey Boys] is being filmed for TV and Nick Jonas of the Jonas Brothers is playing Frankie, and I’m really excited about that. ‘

Meanwhile, Nick posted a video over the weekend of the streaming production’s first tech rehearsal in Cleveland.
Sitting above the stage on scaffolding, Jonas faced the camera and glanced left to right before raising his eyebrows. He then paned to show his viewers the performers on stage and the seats in the auditorium.

Currently, no release date has been set for the new Jersey Boys movie. In 2014, Clint Eastwood directed a big-screen adaptation of the musical starring Tony Award-winning John Lloyd Young.
