Football Coach of Alabama Nick Saban believes that a team's success depends on its leadership.
The last time the Crimson Tide won a national championship was 2017-18, and this season had players like Rashaan Evans, Shaun Dion Hamilton, Minkah Fitzpatrick and Bradley Bozeman. That's why they were all team captains by their peers.
As for the 2019 season, Saban is still waiting for the new leaders of Crimson Tide to come forward and declare themselves worthy.

To facilitate the process, UA plans to organize a seminar on leadership for the team.
"I want to see people take on leadership roles every day," Saban said. "You do not activate leadership."
It was not the first time since the beginning of spring that Saban turned to leadership. He did it a week ago in a similar way.
"All the good teams we have here, the team for which we won championships, we had the kind of leadership that helps people through a difficult time," Saban said last Wednesday. "And they demanded that everyone adhere to the norm, it's not just the coaches who preach it.
"So I think it's important, and it's really special if you have the best players on your team and those who are the best leaders."

McKinney, Moses and Wills all said out loud that they were ready to be leaders this year. Tagovailoa showed his teammates that he was ready to play a bigger role too.
So, Alabama has options. But actions speak louder than words.
"It will be important for this team to reach its full potential if we have good leadership," Saban said. "We will work very hard to try to develop it."
