Pound the alarm! Nicki Minaj shocked fans on Thursday (Sept. 5) with a steep tweet saying she would pull out music to make a good start in family life with her partner Kenneth "Zoo" Petty. The retirement tweet has since been deleted. While Barbz was ill, Minaj later apologized for disregarding the feelings of her fans when announcing the news.
"I'm still here," rapper Young Money told a fan on Twitter. "You're always madly in love with you and you know it in hindsight, it should have been a discussion on Queen Radio and it will be so.I promise you will be happy. No guests, just talk to us The tweet was abrupt and unresponsive, I apologize baby. "
Since rappers rarely retire, many in the hip-hop community were skeptical about Nicki's announcement, while others were sorry that Minaj was moving away from the music and hang up his microphone. TMZ reports that the native of Queens had made plans in studio to record with artists in the coming days. The 36-year-old had said The Joe Budden podcast that she was also working on her fifth album.
Fans should have some sort of closing of an upcoming episode of Queen Radio.
