Richie shared a picture of herself with her husband, a selfie from the time. Richie and her rocker husband have been married for about 9 years, but they have been together for much longer. Both of them announced in 2007 that they were expecting their first child together. Harlow Madden was born on January 11, 2008 and their second child, Sparrow Madden, arrived shortly after September 9, 2009.
The duo made the knot at Richie's father, Lionel Richie Beverly Hills December 11, 2010. Apparently, their ceremony also involved an elephant. The exact reason for this is not clear, which really makes it the elephant in the room.
