MLW held its Country of combat recordings last night in Philadelphia where Nicole Savoy wrestled Holidead. Towards the end of the match, Savoy received a hard kick to the chest.
She was laid down on a stretcher and taken to a nearby hospital by ambulance. Savoy provided an update today that there were no broken bones and that she had a bruised breastbone.
“Sorry to scare everyone,” Savoy wrote. “Thanks for the messages! I really appreciate this! First of all, many thanks to MLW for this opportunity! Hope to come back! Second, nothing is broken. The doctor told me I had a bruised sternum. I’m sorry again that I scared everyone.
In August, Savoy competed in the ROH Women’s World Championship Tournament where she beat Mazzerati in the first round and lost to Miranda Alize in the second round.
