Two of the sport’s biggest names have joined forces as Paris Saint-Germain star striker Kylian Mbappé has his own colorway of the current signature shoe of upcoming NBA champion LeBron James.
A first look at Mbappé’s take on the Nike LeBron 18 was previewed by @Jesuscare on Instagram today, who appears to be sporting a color scheme that pays homage to his homeland, France, with the accents bold blues and reds of the Knitposite 2.0 upper reminiscent of the French flag. Additional details include an embossed “KM” footballer logo on the tongue, two mini Swoosh logos embroidered on the toe, as well as an iridescent heel and outsole.
Mbappé’s Nike LeBron 18 colorway has already landed at some overseas retailers, but a US release has yet to be confirmed by the brand. Stay tuned to Sole Collector for updates.
UPDATE (02/01): AAccording to Foot Locker’s release schedule, Mbappé’s Nike LeBron 18 will hit elementary school shelves on January 7, for $ 160.
