Nikki Bella is in THERAPY with her fiancé Artem Chigvintsev for his ‘strict and serious’ Russian tone and admits she thought he was ‘d ** k’ on DWTS
Nikki Bella and Artem Chigvintsev are in couples therapy.
The 37-year-old star admitted that she and her fiance had sought professional help, in part because of the 38-year-old dancer’s habit of getting into a “ really serious fashion ”, whatever the situation, which has led to them arguing over his “super strict” approach to parenting their five-month-old son Matteo.
“When he’s really stressed, he doesn’t realize his tone. We’re in therapy for that right now, ” she told Kaitlyn Bristowe on the Off the Vine podcast.

The couple met when they were paired up at Dancing with the Stars’in 2017 and Nikki admitted that they clashed then over Artem’s moods, with things getting so bad that she threatened to Stop.
Kaitlyn – who won the show with Artem in November 2020 – asked, ‘Did you feel like he hated your guts during the season, or did you guys have something naughty? ”
The Total Bellas star admitted: ‘He kind of commented on my jive and got really pissed off at me.

‘And I was like, “You know what, man? J. Lo and Beyoncé don’t agree. I don’t have time for this.” And I got out and got in my car.
‘I remember at the time calling [then-fiancé] John [Cena] “I’m quitting smoking. Like, I’m not going to put up with this. He’s a ***!” ‘
And Nikki recalled that sometimes during the show’s dress rehearsals, she was convinced that Artem was annoyed at her because of her tone.
His tone can be sharp: “When he’s really stressed, he doesn’t realize his tone. We’re in therapy for this right now, ” she told Kaitlyn Bristowe on the Off the Vine podcast.
He was tough on her when they worked on DWTS: The Total Bellas star admitted, “ He kind of commented on my jive and got really pissed off at me ”
She said: ‘It would make me feel really bad. And that would just be his tone. It was hard.’
Kaitlyn admitted that her guest’s comments made her realize that Artem didn’t specifically have a problem with her when they were dancing together.
She said, ‘I’m happy because I was, like,’ Maybe he just didn’t like me as a person. ‘
“ Because I’ve heard that all dancers are like that – very strict, that’s kind of how they grew up in their dance world, that’s how they were taught – and Artem even said to me: “I don’t want to use Russia as an excuse, but I’m Russian.” ‘
