Following the unveiling of last week's website, Nintendo has officially confirmed Donkey Kong Jr., Clu Clu Land and AGAINST. Excitebike will arrive on the NES service online on May 15th.
Thanks to the official PR, we now have a little more information on each of these classic games:
Donkey Kong Jr. – Based on the popular arcade game, Donkey Kong Jr. is the result of the huge success Donkey Kong™Play as Donkey Kong's son and save your father who has been kidnapped and imprisoned in a cage by Mario. Use the jumping and climbing abilities to climb in the vineyard and chains, pick the essential fruits and keys and open the cage to free your father. Be sure to avoid pesky birds, unpleasant electric sparks and scary deceivers. Four different worlds filled with many climbing and jumping puzzles await you in this timeless classic.
AGAINST. Excitebike – Fans love it Excitebike™ game for his frantic races, his high stakes and his smooth jumps. With this game you can upgrade to the Famicom™ disk version of AGAINST. Excitebike – complete with two-player split screen. Create tracks from 20 classics Excitebike track coins, and go for a better time or take some friends. The race is even more exciting when the rivalries are real. You can also try the solo mode in AGAINST. Excitebike. It adds tracks, music and the ability to save your best score.
Clu Clu Land – The greedy sea urchins have stolen all the gold bars of Clu Clu Land and buried them in a series of labyrinths. As Bubble, a brave bubble fish, you will discover all the gold bullion in each labyrinth. With 20 steps to complete and increasingly complex conditions (for example, double-crossing gold bars to discover them), you can simply call on a friend to help you out.
