Nintendo combines The Legend of Zelda with Crypt of the NecroDancer

Cadence of Hyrule: Crypt of NecroDancer with legend of Zelda This was the big surprise announcement at the end of Wednesday's Nindies Showcase. In case the title is not clear enough, the game Nintendo Switch seems to merge the fight based on the rhythm of the zany character criticized Crypt of NecroDancer with the world and characters from Nintendo's Legend of Zelda adventure franchise.

Unlike the original Crypt of NecroDancer, Cadence of Hyrule has an artistic style that resembles Zelda's recent portable adventures. The trailer also contains a score inspired by legendary Legend of Zelda emblems, with 25 songs remixed in the game. Zelda and Link are playable characters, with NecroDancerThe first star, Cadence. The overworld and dungeons will be generated randomly, according to a Nintendo press release.

Cadence of Hyrule is developed by Brace Yourself Games in partnership with Nintendo.

Crypt of NecroDancer was released for the first time on PC in 2015 and has since been ported to consoles. Its last launch on Nintendo Switch was in 2018. Cadence of Hyrule will be released on Switch this spring.
