There is less than a week left before The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD arrives on the Switch. Nintendo has reminded us of the relentless return of this Wii game since its announcement, and ahead of its release, it promoted another quality of life improvement.
In the Switch version, there are some tweaks to the game’s opening hours to make it “smoother” to play. The attached example shows how you will no longer have to deal with so much chatter from a particular NPC in the game teaching you the basics. It’s here:
Nintendo has been pushing for quality of life changes a lot over the past week – on Friday we saw (again) how item info will only appear once from now, and at the start of the month, we got a full trailer on all of the quality of life improvements.
There is now “optional” Fi help, skippable cutscenes, the ability to quickly advance dialogue, autosaving, and skippable tutorials. Is all of that enough to make you want to maybe replay Skyward Sword on the Switch? Or will this be your first time trying the game? Tell us below.
