Nintendo The Labo VR kit may be just a small cardboard experience, but Nintendo is trying to launch its most popular titles in the helmet. Today, the company announced that it would add support for reading two of Switch's flagship titles.

Although Legend of Zelda: Breath of Nature seems to simply gain the support of the VR viewer, Super Mario Odyssey actually gets new content next to the updates, which adds a trio of new mini-games. This update is free for both games later this month, on 25/04.

This is a very strange choice for Nintendo, as it will definitely be a cruddy experience. It was quite logical with the Labo experiments, because they are designed to be fast and fun, while the technical specifications are cursed. But when Nintendo suggests embarking on a 50-hour epic like Breath of nature, they offer you a tacit confirmation that you will be able to play these VR games for a while.

I doubt that will be the case. That said, I have not tested virtual reality Breath of nature but something tells me that Mario or Zelda with a resolution of 360p per eye is not playing the game of a lifetime.

There is nothing to indicate that you have a different perspective from the point of view that they have activated the gameplay, so you will always play in the third person, which may be a bit uncomfortable if the camera moves automatically while your head stays still.

It is hard to convince Nintendo to have offered this experience for free to users, but I hope that people will not rush to buy the Labo VR kits just for that, because I have doubts they will like that they will get.
