In a business study that sought to know the 100 most reputable companies in the United States, Nintendo has been found fairly high in the list. The company known for everything from Pokemon games to the Nintendo Switch console, was ranked 9th in the RepTrak 100 study of the US Reputation Institute. Of the other big companies that sell all kinds of products, Nintendo is the only gaming company in the top 10.
Nintendo has not found its place at the forefront – this title belongs to Netflix, according to the list of the 10 most reputable companies – but it was the only company of this type to feature in the top polls . results. Stephen Hahn-Griffiths, reputation manager for the Reputation Institute, explains in part why Nintendo and the other top-ranked people in the list were so well ranked.
"2019 is a year of significant change," said Hahn-Griffiths. "Only two companies that ranked in the top 10 last year repeated this year. Welcome to the "Reputation Day", where companies are closely scrutinized on all aspects of ethics, leadership, values and beyond their organization. There is really nothing left to hide. "
Hahn-Griffiths added that Netflix ranked first. The previous survey of the company's most reputable companies showed that Netflix was still in the top 10, but was ranked 23 places lower and the jump was unprecedented, according to the Reputation Institute.
