It seems that Nintendo has disconnected many DSiWare games available on the 3DS eShop. Games pulled from the digital storefront seem to apply only to North America, but that could change soon if European and Japanese eShop follow the same trend. It has been reported that over 250 titles have been delisted since January 1 and they all appear to be games released before mid-May 2011. There are however a few exceptions which are:
- Art Academy: first semester – September 2009
- Art Academy: Second Semester – Sept 2009
- Game & Watch: Donkey Kong Jr – April 2010
- Pinball Pulse: The Ancients Beckon – October 2009
- Sudoku (Electronic Arts) – October 2009
There hasn’t been any announcement from Nintendo or clarification as to why the above titles haven’t been affected, but if you are considering grabbing DSiWare games on the 3DS and you are not in North America, we suggest you enter them. sooner rather than later.
