At the end of August, Nintendo gives you the chance to snag some pretty Switch deals through its Share the Fun sale. There are nearly three dozen games on sale, led by the late 2019 flagship Luigi’s mansion 3, until August 30. These aren’t just proprietary titles, as Blizzard, Ubisoft, and many more offer discounts through their own sales.

Nintendo
Mario and Peach have been kidnapped, and it’s up to you – a notorious coward – to save them from a haunted hotel. This is the premise of Luigi’s Mansion 3, Nintendo’s latest opportunity to let Luigi shine. The game received acclaim last October and costs $ 42, up from $ 60 as of August 30.
MDHR Studio
Originally released in 2017, Cuphead made 2D even hotter. Inspired by cartoons from the 1930s, this sidecroller is incredibly charming – and surprisingly difficult. It’s just $ 16 until August 30.
Motion Twin
Speaking of wonderful 2D games: Dead Cells. But while Cuphead is colorful and full of whimsy, Dead Cells is a bit darker. But, like, in a great way. This Metroidvania-style game will take you over a dozen hours to beat, and it’s $ 10 off until August 30.
Activision Blizzard
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is still the best-selling game on Switch, but it’s not the only kart racing remaster that’s worth your time. Crash Team Racing Nitro Fueled is a 2018 remake of the classic PlayStation 1, following on from the success of the previous year’s N. Sane trilogy. It’s $ 23 until August 30.
Stellar Entertainment / EA
One of the big disappointments of this generation of games is that there was no new Burnout title. These are some of the best racers on PlayStation 2, and Burnout Paradise looked fantastic on Xbox 360 and PS3. He’s now on the switch and $ 15 off.
SHE
Unravel Two is a nice platform that lets you take control of a little wire trick. It’s a sequel to the original Unravel, adding the element of cooperative play. Thankfully, you can still play the game solo – which you’ll want to do while Unravel Two sells for just $ 5.
Obsidian entertainment
South Park: The Stick of Truth originally released in 2014, but it’s still one of the most powerful licensed games you can buy. Developed by Obsidian Entertainment, the gang behind Fallout New Vegas and The Outer Worlds, this South Park game takes on fantasy RPGs and tropes. It’s funny (if you like South Park, an important warning) and costs $ 12 until August 30th.
