Terror of the metroids

Switch exclusive Terror of the metroids is really the game of the moment, but it looks like some people don’t even play this new version on Nintendo hardware. As pointed out by the people of PC Gamer, some people are already running this title on the open source Yuzu and Ryujinx Switch emulators – increasing the resolution to 4K and unlocking the framerate.

A YouTube channel uploaded a 10-minute “Yuzu Emulator Performance Test” video (that we will not share here) – featuring Dread running on a PC powered by a 6GB GTX 1060, an Intel Core i5-8400 processor and 16GB of DDR4 RAM.

As astonishing as this title is admittedly on PC, for Nintendo, it’s probably rather worrying that it happened in a few days (you may want to review your anti-piracy measures). Of course, if you want to show your support for the new version of Samus, the best way to do that is to go out and buy a copy of Metroid Dread for Switch.
