Nintendo is well known for publishing not only different models of its gaming equipment, but also special versions of these gaming-themed systems. In a series of announcements, the company revealed its intention to do both of these things. The Nintendo Switch Lite, a new Switch model for handhelds only, will be available this fall. It will be offered in several colors. This launch will soon follow another model celebrating the release of Pokemon Sword and Shield.

The "Zacian and Zamazenta Edition" is named after the two Legendary Pokémon that represent the sword aspects of the shield and shield of each game. It is a light gray tone with blue and magenta buttons on the face , and illustrations of the two creatures that adorn the back. It will be released on November 8 for $ 200, at the same price as other Nintendo Switch Lite models. The sword and the shield are not included. you will have to buy these games separately when they arrive on November 15 (you may want both versions, depending on the difference we know up to now).

The other three Switch Lite models, in yellow, gray and turquoise, will arrive on September 20th. This means that if you want the Pokemon version, you will have to wait a bit. It is launched just one week before Pokemon Sword and Shield, but games will have to be purchased separately.

The Nintendo Switch Lite is a new model of Nintendo Switch with a lighter housing and some removed features, as well as its economical price. It can not use the connected mode to attach to a TV and this model no longer has detachable Joy-Con controllers. It also means that the rumble and the infrared camera have been removed. However, it replaces the buttons on the left side with an appropriate numeric keypad. It also incorporates the Amiibo feature.
