Nintendo Switch New Years eShop has some fantastic games up for grabs

Clubhouse Games: 51 Global Classics, Grindstone and Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon 2 all deserve a nod

There’s no shortage of interesting games on Nintendo Switch, it’s just a matter of launching at the right time to get the most out of them. For some of you, it will be the eShop New Year’s sale.

Note that I said “fantastic games” and not “fantastic offers” in the title.

It’s an eShop sale, after all – and a very well organized one at that. Current discount for a lot of these Switch games it might seem small, but i think most of them are quality games (although we’re fed up with seeing that standard $ 41.99 selling price on nintendo games owners, regardless of their age).

Some recommendations if you are looking for a helping hand: Clubhouse games (I loved dueling with the big brain AI opponents), Good work! (it is a “cooperative afternoon” type game), Grinding wheel (it’s going to take a ridiculously long time), Curse of the Moon 2 (don’t feel like you have to play the original game first), A short hike (it’s so beautiful), and Shinsekai (a rare Capcom metroidvania). I watch Immortals, but I can continue to wait.

I would also say that $ 11.99 sounds a lot better than thirty dollars for Aladdin and The Lion King.

Either way take a look – the eShop New Years Sale will last until 11:59 p.m. PT on January 21
