Nintendo launched Nintendo Switch Concierge, a program designed to familiarize those who “recently purchased a Nintendo Switch console” with the console.

Switch Concierge offers Switch owners one-on-one video conferencing with a Nintendo representative. There are six half-hour sessions to choose from: Nintendo Switch 101, Games (Getting Started), Games (What to Play Next), Security & Privacy, Nintendo Account, and Personalization. It all sounds very 101 – for example, the Games (Getting Started) session supposedly covers the difference between buying a game on a cartridge or buying it through a “digital download.” (Aren’t all downloads digital?) The personalization session, on the other hand, will review @ NintendoInspired Instagram feed.

A service for new Switch owners wouldn’t have been a thing a year ago: last spring, so Animal Crossing: New horizons appeased those confined to their homes during the onset of the pandemic, he was almost impossible to get hold of a switch. Now that most digital retailers have the Switch in stock again, Switch Concierge is probably more viable. I can’t wait to find out what video games are available on Nintendo Switch and why they’re all spelled Hell.
