More to be revealed next week.

Virtual Boy! The Wii Remote! Cardboard and some rubber bands! Nintendo is no stranger to innovation on the left field, and his last grip for a disturbing game technology is, wait for it, a staggering thing with a Joy-Con stuck in the top.

Yes, as if Deadly Premonition 2 was not surprising enough for a week, Nintendo was stunned again by unveiling – or at least teasing – – in fact, I have no idea. But it's definitely round, and there's really a Joy-Con stuck in it.

According to Nintendo, this curious device is a "new experience" designed for Switch, and its video reveals a succession of happy families dressed in immaculate clothing floating around the living room in different, not very attractive, ways.

A woman grabbed her running on the spot, one person squatted aggressively while the device shakes, another lady happily clasps it between her knees and a man pumped it vigorously and rhythmically, Akimbo legs, all while rolling on the ground.

I really do not know what else to say. It sounds like some kind of gadget compatible with a gyro connected to some kind of hybrid Wii Fit / Wii Sports game – but with little to do, it's probably safer to wait until Nintendo is ready to say more. And a complete revelation, judging by the end of the video today, is scheduled for Thursday, September 12th.
