New Nioh 2 Remastered Complete Edition gameplay footage was shared online today, showcasing the soon-to-be-released PlayStation 5 game.
The new 4K, 60 FPS footage, which you can watch below, focuses on the game’s very first mission, offering a very quick look at its core mechanics as well. The PlayStation 5 version is clearly better than the original PlayStation 4 version, also thanks to the increased resolution.
Nioh 2 recently received a brand new update that brought some new content to the game, such as additional floors for the Underworld Depths and some balance adjustments.

Nioh 2 Remastered Complete Edition will launch on February 5 alongside the Collection, which includes both series entries and the PC version of the game. The original game is now available on PlayStation 4 worldwide.
Much like the previous title which garnered a lot of praise from fans and critics, Nioh 2 contains an original and deep story surrounding military commanders of the Sengoku period. However, Nioh 2 goes beyond its predecessor by including the new Yokai Shift ability that allows the protagonist to use powerful new forms to defeat even the most formidable yokai in battle. New in Nioh 2, your enemies can now create a dark realm that raises the stakes of battle and creates new challenges for your protagonist to overcome.
