Nipsey Hussle has just been shot in LA … TMZ has learned.
Several sources tell us that the rapper was shot dead Sunday in the Hyde Park area of Los Angeles, south of the Crenshaw area. We are told that he was in his clothing store called Marathon Clothing Company. He opened the place in 2017.

His condition is unknown at this stage. Eyewitnesses in the area said they heard several shots.
Even more crazy … Nipsey seems to have tweeted just before the shot and refers to "enemies". He wrote: "Having powerful enemies is a blessing."

Nipsey – who comes from the Crenshaw area of Los Angeles – has links to the Crips. That did not stop him from working with artists with rival affiliations with gangs … he made music with YG and The Game, both related to Bloods.
During his career of more than 10 years, he has released several mixed cassettes, but he just released his first studio album last year. This is called "Victory Lap" … which earned him a Grammy for best rap album just a month ago. Nipsey lost to Cardi B at the awards ceremony.
Despite being a polite rapper, Nipsey was no stranger to the street. He ended up in a fight in West Hollywood in December 2018 … which turned out to be a case of mistaken identity, thanks to his friend, O.T. Genasis.
