Fervent critic of President Trump, Rep. Bill Pascrell Jr., DN.J., has called for Trump and members of his administration to be investigated and prosecuted once he leaves office .

He was rightly indicted by the House of Representatives. He gave himself up to treason, to treason. He has all but given up on ruling and protecting our nation and if he had an ounce of dignity he would step down today, ”Pascrell wrote.

Pascrell also said any attempt by Trump to use the president’s pardon powers to help his staff would be an “obstruction of justice” and that the issue surrounding his ability to forgive himself would be “illegal.”

The New Jersey congressman could not be reached to confirm whether other members of Congress have said they support his measure, but Trump’s ally, Rep. Matt Gaetz, of R-Fla., Condemned the move. decision Thursday, calling it “disgusting”.
