Hasbro officially weighed in on the Cara dune shutdown The Mandalorian figurine after Gina Carano’s social media controversy and Lucasfilm’s dismissal.

News has been crazy over the past two days about the action figure, boosted by a customer service memo from fanboy toy retailer BigBadToyStore. However, Hasbro had not provided a specific statement or confirmation that the toy was no longer available.

“We are thrilled to have the privilege of creating products featuring characters and stories from The Mandalorian for our fans. Hasbro has completed development of all Season 1 and 2 products with Cara Dune, and there are currently no plans to create any more. We are actively working with our retail partners to process existing orders, ”said Julie Duffy, SVP SVP Global Communications Tuesday.

Some insiders told us we weren’t likely to see much of Season 2 Mandalorian action figures since the series hasn’t returned for a while; spin off Boba Fett’s book will rather fall this fall. Looks like it does, as Hasbro is specifically canceling Cara Dune toys.

Carano in a recent interview said she learned of her dismissal from The Mandalorian on social networks. She also claimed that she was not included in the Season 2 press for the Disney + series after deciding not to use the streamer’s apology statement for her online teasing about non-binary pronouns.

On Friday, Deadline reported that the MMA veteran and dead Pool the actress is now working on a new film with Ben Shapiro and The Daily Wire.
