When purchasing a Galaxy S21 or Galaxy S21 Ultra, thanks to an instant credit offered that could be spent on purchasing accessories on the spot at a reduced price, I think it’s safe to assume that a group of people recently bought the new Samsung. Galaxy Buds Pro with their new phone. I know I did. Tim did too. It was an easy grip, especially after hearing Samsung talk about their latest pair of ANC-equipped wireless headphones.
We’re still testing ours, but most early Galaxy Buds Pro reviews compared them favorably to Apple’s AirPods Pro and rated them as the best to date. While I can tell you now that I think they look pretty amazing for true wireless earbuds, there is another area of concern that many early adopters run into that have taken the Buds Pro rating down. No one can understand how they are doing.
I was walking around the Samsung store today (because I have nothing better to do) and noticed that the Buds Pro, which again are almost universally loved by reviewers, have a rating of 3 , 2 stars with 120 reviews. When you examine the reasons for such a low rating on a product that looked like a Samsung slam dunk, it doesn’t take long to see what happens.
These are just a small sample of the complaints. Most people think they sound and look great, but wearing them is the problem. They don’t do well, cause discomfort, or fall with something as stupid as chewing gum.
Funny thing is that Samsung keeps responding by telling everyone that these are fools who wear them badly. Their response includes a link to a guide on how to fit the tips on the Buds Pro and insert them properly into the ears.
During my use, I cannot say that I had any shape problems. Out of the box my Buds Pro fit well and are secured by sliding them into each ear, then twisting them slightly into position. I feel like I do the same with all real wireless headphones, so maybe these people just need some practice.
