Set photos from Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures Spider-Man: No Coming Home offers another look at Peter Parker’s new Spidey costume.

The costume bears a striking resemblance to the one Peter designs for himself in the third act for Far from home, but with a red belt that does not feature black / dark blue accents like the previous version. Images of the new costume were first posted online in January.

Dutchman Peter Parker is no stranger to costume upgrades, having gone from his homemade costume to the first costume designed by Stark in Captain America: Civil War and Spider-Man: Homecoming, the Iron Spider costume in Avengers: Infinity War in End of Game and Back home and even the stealth costume (aka the Night Monkey costume) in Back home before landing on her latest look.

Shooting for Spider-Man: No Coming Home began in Atlanta, Georgia at the end of 2020, and while the plot of the sequel is being kept under wraps, there is still a lot to be gleaned based on other recent casting announcements and rumors: Benedict Cumberbatch will appear as the Doctor Stephen Strange, Jamie Foxx will. resumes his role of Electro from The Incredible Spider-Man 2, Alfred Molina from Spider-Man 2 will return as Doctor Octopus and Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire, who played Peter Parker in both Spider Man franchises, would also be present. These announcements have led many to believe that the film will explore the concept of the multiverse, which was alluded to in Far from home but ultimately turned out to be a ruse perpetuated by Mysterio.

Another name that fans have associated themselves with No coming home is Charlie Cox after it was reported that his incarnation of Matt Murdock / Daredevil from the Marvel Netflix series would appear in the film. While this has not yet been confirmed, sources noted that Cox has already completed filming his scenes, and if the rumor clears it would mark the first big step since Daredevil returned rights to Marvel Studios after. the cancellation of the Netflix series in 2018.

Directed by Jon Watts, Spider-Man: No Coming Home stars Tom Holland, Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Marisa Tomei, Tony Revolori, Jamie Foxx, Alfred Molina and Benedict Cumberbatch. The film arrives in theaters on December 17.
