Commenting on the news, Juho Sarvikas, global product manager for HMD, said:
With a proven track record in providing fast software updates, Nokia smartphones were the first full portfolio to benefit from a two-letter upgrade from Android Nougat to Android Oreo, then Android Pie. We were the fastest manufacturer to switch from Android Oreo to Android Pie across the range. And with today 's deployment plan, we plan to do it even faster for upgrades from Android Pie to Android 10. We are the only manufacturer to commit to 100 % to have the latest Android on the entire portfolio.
The level of transparency of Nokia for its update plans is great, as is the wealth of devices to receive Android 10. Now, if only companies like Samsung and LG have taken note of the Nokia book.
Android 10: All you need to know!
Android 10 is coming
Nokia 7.1
An excellent mid-ranger that will soon switch to Android 10.
The Nokia 7.1 is one of the best mid-range phones you can buy in the US, thanks in large part to its high-end design, superb HDR display and clean software. The phone is even better these days because the price has dropped and an update of Android 10 has been confirmed before the end of the year.
