This may seem quite pleasant now, but the wind will begin to blow later this weekend, leaving a chance for a power outage in the area.
The National Weather Service has released a strong wind watch over most of New Jersey and eastern Pennsylvania from Sunday night through Monday afternoon.
Expect winds of 20 to 30 mph, with gusts of up to 55 mph. This means that felled trees, branches and power lines are likely.
Power outages are expected, warned the NWS.
By helping to make room for felled trees, the Meteorological Service noted that our already saturated soil would become darker with more rain later in the day and Sunday. Allow half an inch to an inch and a half of rain in the area this weekend.
"It will not take much wind to knock down trees and power lines," the NWS said.
The windy watch covers all of New Jersey, with the exception of the northeastern counties of Bergen, Essex, Hudson, Passaic and Union.
Temperatures are expected to reach mid-40s today and could reach the lows of the 60s on Sunday.
