North's smart glasses Focals now support Android notification actions

North has added native support for Android's notification actions to its Focals smart glasses. With this new feature, you will now be able to access all the shortcuts that application developers include in their app notifications. 9to5Google, who spotted the update for the first time, notes that these actions may include deleting or archiving emails in the Gmail app or tweets retweetage on Twitter.

This feature should make it easier for you to trust your smart glasses without having to take your phone out of your pocket, a feature similar to what was previously available with Google Glass. Unfortunately, the new feature is only available for Android users at the moment. It can not solve one of our biggest problems with Focals, namely the poor support of its applications on iOS.

If you want to activate the new feature, you can do it by going to the "Experiments" section of the Focals application. Once activated, you can then click once on a notification to expand it, then select it again to access the available actions.
