Charlotte ended up flying from Oslo to Stockholm, then via Munich to Croatia. The sailing trip had to be postponed one day.
The trip, which takes about three hours of direct flights, took a total of 16 hours.

Since Charlotte is 14 years old, she no longer has a child ticket, but she travels either with a regular ticket or with a ticket for young people. Assistance can certainly be given for children traveling alone or for those who need it.
– What worries me now is that the airline must make sure that it does not happen again. In these times when many children and young people are traveling, parents need to be sure that they will not be expelled from the plane, "says the mother.
When an airplane is overbooked or reduced to a smaller plane, as in In this case, some passengers must stay. They are therefore rebooked to another flight. If people do not volunteer, the airline must choose someone.
– Our rules are very clear: children, the elderly, the disabled and people with other connections should be examined in such situations. There will be an evaluation from time to time, but here they took the wrong person, says Johansen in SAS.

Airlines can refuse boarding the plane . They may also choose random passengers who have to stand above the flight or they may attempt a sum of money to induce anyone to stay upright.
