The Norwegian Petroleum Directorate reports Thursday a small discovery made by Spirit Energy Norway AS
The discovery was made about 15 kilometers north of the field of Åsgard 250km west of Brønnøysund .

According to the report, the company encountered a 60 meter gas column described with poor to moderate reservoir quality.
Spirit Energy Norway AS, operator for the 433 production license, has completed the drilling of the 6506 / 9-4 S and 6506 / 9-4 A evaluation wells on gas and condensate discovery 6506 / 9-2 S.
These are the second and third exploration wells in the production license.
The wells were drilled by Island Innovator to drill the 7322 / 7-1 production license 852 production pit in the Barents Sea, where Spirit Energy Norge AS is an operator.
