9. July 1933 is the hottest night measured in Norway lately. Then, the lowest temperature measured during the night was 25.5 degrees. It arrived at Halden in Østfold.
From Thursday to Thursday evening, the record was almost reached. At the Makkaur lighthouse in the municipality of Båtsfjord on the Finnmark coast, it was not colder than 25.2 degrees.
Also measured at six other measuring stations in the Finnmark and Troms were too late at night. A tropical night is a night when the minimum measured temperature does not drop below 20 degrees.
The high temperatures at Finnmark continued throughout the day. Lakselv became the hottest spot on Thursday, with 33 degrees, followed by Berlevåg with 32.7 degrees and Tana with 32.4 degrees.
