As expected, Knut Arild Hareide, leader of the KRF, won the overwhelming majority when Oppland KrF chose his six delegates to the National Assembly on November 2nd.

The county team sends five red and one blue delegates to the country meeting. There, the party will decide on the direction to take: seek government cooperation with Ap and Sp, launch an exploration with the Solberg government or stay in opposition.

In Oppland, 28 out of 35 voters voted 80% to go to the left, while seven others voted for the right.

Oppland followed, as expected, the board of the party leadership to let the composition of the delegates reflect the mood at the county council meeting and not to choose a "winner takes any" solution, such as the Did Rogaland KrF.

Five of the delegates were elected at the county council meeting Tuesday at the Hotel Hafjell of Øyer, while county head Toril Kristiansen was not in position. It has long been known that she stands on the red side.

"I think that the KrF will try to negotiate with the center party and the Labor Party to reach our political platform, we also occupy the positions of vice president and senior adviser in the county council, and most people who I spoke to before the county council meeting are probably the same, said Kristiansen at NTB earlier on Tuesday.

The five elected delegates are Kåre Siemenstad (right) and Jytte Sonne, Morten Halling, Marit Andrin Kraglund and Kjetil Weyde (left).
